Snorkel AI is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead engineering talent acquisition for the company. Snorkel builds data-centric AI platforms that help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI systems at scale. The company was founded as a Stanford AI Lab research project and has evolved to serve some of the world's largest organizations.
In this role, you will own full-cycle recruiting for engineering positions, including software engineers, ML/AI engineers, and infrastructure specialists. Key responsibilities include developing creative sourcing strategies to build diverse, high-quality pipelines of passive and active candidates; tracking recruiting metrics to continuously improve speed and efficiency; delivering exceptional candidate experience at every touchpoint; and partnering closely with engineering hiring managers to understand role requirements and advise on hiring strategy.
You will represent Snorkel at industry events and within the broader talent community, building long-term relationships and staying attuned to market trends in compensation, benefits, and talent movement. You'll coordinate the interview process, provide timely feedback, and ensure clear communication between candidates and hiring teams. Additionally, you'll support onboarding and immigration processes for new hires.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on engineering roles in technology startups. You should have demonstrated success in high-growth, fast-paced environments and deep familiarity with the San Francisco Bay Area technical talent landscape. You'll need proficiency with modern recruiting tools (Greenhouse, ModernLoop, Gem preferred), excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trust quickly with hiring managers and candidates. A genuine passion for diversity and inclusion, combined with deep understanding of engineering function challenges and market dynamics in tech startups, is essential.
