Salary: USD 150,000 - 300,000 / annual
Velaura is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to build out the engineering organization for next-generation AI compute platforms. This is a full-cycle recruiting role focused on attracting world-class engineering talent across a broad technical spectrum.
You will own recruiting across silicon and systems engineering disciplines including computer and SoC architecture, RTL design, design verification, physical design, emulation, system software, firmware, and silicon bring-up. You'll also recruit AI/ML systems engineers, compiler specialists, and robotics/Physical AI software engineers. The role requires deep understanding of semiconductor engineering terminology, AI infrastructure ecosystems (LLVM, MLIR, TVM, XLA, PyTorch), and robotics platforms (ROS/ROS 2).
Key responsibilities include: partnering with engineering executives and hiring managers to translate organizational needs into recruiting strategies; proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates through networks, conferences, and technical communities; building talent pipelines across multiple engineering disciplines; driving high-quality candidate experience from outreach through onboarding; and representing Velaura in a competitive technical talent market.
Ideal candidates have recruited deeply technical engineering talent in semiconductors, AI compute, or systems software. Experience scaling engineering organizations at startups, familiarity with complex SoC development (CPU, GPU, NPU, AI accelerators), and existing networks within semiconductor or AI infrastructure communities are highly valued. This is a hands-on role requiring direct sourcing, network building, and understanding of the technical landscape to compete for top-tier engineering talent.
Velaura is building foundational compute technology for cloud, edge, and Physical AI applications including robots, autonomous systems, and drones. The team includes experienced leaders and architects who have delivered industry-defining products across mobile, cloud, semiconductor, and AI platforms.
