As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will own talent acquisition for Anduril's Maritime Division, working directly with engineering leaders and individual contributors to build world-class teams. This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy and impact across all aspects of recruiting.
Key responsibilities include: sourcing and tracking high volumes of candidates while maintaining stakeholder communication; establishing deep partnerships with business leaders to influence talent strategy; embedding yourself into teams to understand product positioning, technical roadmaps, and culture; developing compelling pitches for technical talent; analyzing pipeline and performance data to drive insights; building recruiting strategies that support long-range company growth; conducting interviews with strong interview-to-offer ratios; engaging passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Boolean strings, and referral campaigns; and ensuring consistent, positive candidate experiences throughout the process.
You will act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques, data extraction, process automation, and candidate management systems. Success requires moving fast while maintaining process rigor, demonstrating consultative guidance that improves outcomes, and earning respect from peers and hiring managers.
Required: 6+ years recruiting and sourcing technical roles with proven ability to close top-tier engineering talent (startup/software experience preferred); experience hiring across software, hardware, or both; 4+ years client interaction with hiring managers and directors; consultative approach with demonstrated positive impact; strong understanding of engineering technical requirements; clear communication with candidates about motivation and fit; experience managing candidate funnels; working knowledge of ATS/HRIS systems, interview techniques, and sourcing methods.
Preferred: startup and tech domain experience; self-sufficiency with minimal supervision; resilience and creative problem-solving; direct, succinct communication; full ownership mentality aligned with company mission.
