Amperesand is building intelligent, software-defined power infrastructure products based on advanced medium voltage Solid State Transformer technology. The company addresses a critical infrastructure gap: electricity demand is skyrocketing due to AI data centers, electric vehicles, and industrial growth, yet power infrastructure hasn't meaningfully evolved in nearly 100 years. Amperesand's products are faster to deploy, smaller, more efficient, and capable of supporting modern dynamic energy needs.
As Senior Technical Program Manager for Manufacturing, you will lead complex programs spanning manufacturing systems and process development from concept through full-scale production. You'll drive cross-functional execution across manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, firmware and software, product, supply chain, quality, and production operations teams.
Key responsibilities include: overseeing program scope, schedules, and resource planning for manufacturing initiatives; driving execution across the full manufacturing development lifecycle (process concept, design reviews, pilot builds, verification, validation, qualification, production ramp); coordinating manufacturing development milestones including process requirements, fixture/tooling release, line layout, DFM/DFA reviews, process capability studies, and pilot builds; managing program planning and milestone tracking for line integration, equipment readiness, process maturity, and production readiness; identifying and mitigating risks related to process design, supplier readiness, tooling, long-lead equipment, production constraints, and cross-functional dependencies.
You will own program scope, schedules, risk management, and delivery quality across multi-phase manufacturing development roadmaps, ensuring successful execution through process design, line validation, and production ramp. The role requires deep expertise in manufacturing program management, process development, and the ability to coordinate complex technical teams toward aggressive timelines and quality standards.
