Tutor Intelligence is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex product development initiatives spanning hardware, software, and manufacturing. You will own end-to-end program execution, from engineering through production, ensuring cross-functional alignment and on-time delivery.
In this role, you'll manage technical programs with exacting attention to detail—catching inconsistencies in trackers, tracking date shifts, and documenting acceptance criteria that others miss. You'll work daily with AI tools to automate and streamline program management workflows, demonstrating concrete automation you've built (scripts, agents, API integrations against Linear, Jira, GitHub, Slack) rather than just describing capabilities.
You'll need sufficient technical depth to follow engineering discussions on software architecture, hardware design, and manufacturing constraints. You'll push back on estimates and plans that don't hold together, and you'll communicate clearly in writing and verbally with engineers, stakeholders, and manufacturing partners.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of technical program or project management experience shipping physical products or complex software systems, with several years at a senior level. You've worked at multiple companies—ideally both large enterprises and startups—and have hands-on experience running programs that span hardware and software with manufacturing dependencies (engineering builds, ECOs, field retrofits). A background as a software or hardware engineer before transitioning to program management is valued. Experience in robotics, industrial automation, or industrial equipment is a plus. You're comfortable on factory and warehouse floors, willing to travel occasionally to customer sites and manufacturing partners, and you bring a concrete vision for how program management should evolve around AI tools.
