Shield AI is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-functional software development programs. In this role, you will own end-to-end project management accountability across hardware and software engineering, legal, safety and security, business development, finance, supply chain, and operations teams. Key responsibilities include: • Managing complex software development projects from conception through delivery, spanning multiple functional teams and cross-functional initiatives. You will be accountable for project success across all phases. • Creating detailed, cohesive project plans that track and drive both internal and external product deliverables. You will ensure timely completion, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status regularly to upper management and stakeholders. • Soliciting, aggregating, and tracking product and technical requirements from both internal and external stakeholders. You will maintain a single source of truth for requirements and track their status throughout the development lifecycle to ensure fulfillment. • Identifying, cataloging, and reporting on program risks across multiple teams. You will assess potential impact, report regularly to stakeholders, and manage risk burndown throughout the program lifecycle. Required qualifications: • Proven experience managing complex software development projects from start to finish, including budget, schedule, and resource management. You must have worked with multidisciplinary teams and managed multiple concurrent projects in a largely self-directed manner. • Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Strong leadership, time management, organizational, and team management skills. You must be able to motivate and inspire teams, set clear expectations, and delegate effectively. • Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of project management principles, risk identification and management, stakeholder communication, and decision-making under pressure.
