ModMed is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager / Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead the Agile Release Train (ART) and orchestrate quarterly PI Planning processes. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and business, requiring mastery of value stream management, dependency streamlining, risk management, and work-flow optimization across both traditional SDLC and iterative AI/ML development lifecycles. Key Responsibilities: ART Leadership & Execution: Own and facilitate all ART ceremonies including PI Planning, ART Syncs, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and System Demos. Lead, coach, and mentor scrum teams to deliver on PI objectives with measurable business impact. Drive cross-team alignment with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture to ensure execution remains tightly coupled with strategy. Translate Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives and ensure high-visibility communication across the organization. Value Stream & Technical Program Management: Optimize the flow of value across the ART by proactively identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and impediments. Apply deep understanding of both traditional SDLC and iterative AI/ML development lifecycle to manage technical complexities and guide data science, engineering, and MLOps teams. Implement and maintain metrics, dashboards, and information radiators to measure ART health, predictability, and throughput. Facilitate seamless collaboration across distributed, matrixed teams, acting as the primary translator between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strategic Alignment & Continuous Improvement: Partner with senior leadership to shape technical roadmaps, inform capacity planning, and assist with resource allocation. Champion Agile and SAFe practices and drive continuous improvement, guiding adoption of DevOps, Release on Demand, and Lean UX. Act as a thought leader and mentor, helping evolve Program Management and Agile practices within the organization. Practical AI Skills: Use generative AI tools to draft status reports, create project plans, summarize documents, and prepare stakeholder presentations. Leverage AI to analyze project data, predict risks, and identify workflow bottlenecks. Automate repetitive tasks to focus on high-value strategic work. About ModMed: Founded in 2010 by a practicing physician and tech entrepreneur, ModMed takes a "for doctors, by doctors" approach to healthcare software. The company has built an AI-enabled, specialty-specific cloud platform placing patients at the center of care. With 4,500+ employees globally (headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida; significant presence in Hyderabad, India), ModMed has been recognized as a Top Place to Work 2025, won Gold Globee for "Technology Team of the Year," ranked #1 EHR in 11 specialties, and named Venture-Backed Company of the Year by Florida Venture Forum. Requirements: The posting does not explicitly state years of experience, educational credentials, or specific certifications required. However, the role demands: proven experience as a Release Train Engineer or Technical Program Manager in SAFe environments; deep expertise in Agile methodologies and ART orchestration; hands-on experience managing both traditional SDLC and AI/ML development lifecycles; demonstrated ability to mentor teams and drive organizational change; practical proficiency with generative AI tools for automation and data analysis; strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills; and the ability to work in a hybrid, distributed team environment.
