Salary: USD 146,000 - 225,000 / annual
Affirm is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead high-visibility planning and operational programs across engineering, product, analytics, and cross-functional teams. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, product, and engineering execution, driving complex transformation initiatives and scaling business and technology process management practices as the company grows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving complex, multi-disciplinary transformation and operational programs aligned with Affirm's mission to deliver honest financial products
- Coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategy, priorities, and key decisions
- Implementing lean processes and continuous improvement frameworks to enhance team effectiveness
- Establishing data-driven operational frameworks to track portfolio performance against OKRs and enable better investment decisions
- Developing communication strategies to ensure critical information flows seamlessly across the organization
- Managing change requirements, identifying risks, and establishing tools and forums for clarity and efficiency
- Identifying systemic inefficiencies and bringing transparency, visibility, and accountability across the organization
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of proven experience managing programs, processes, and change management in technology-focused environments
- Strong technical background with deep understanding of software development processes
- Organized and strategic approach to cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and other teams
- Track record of successfully implementing frameworks at scale in remote-friendly cultures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consulting skills
- Prior FinTech, Payments, or Commerce experience is a plus
