Salary: CAD 128,000 - 188,000 / annual
Affirm is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead high-visibility planning and operational programs across the organization. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, product, and engineering execution, serving as a trusted strategic partner who drives complex initiatives and architects operational frameworks that power Affirm's technology and business.
In this role, you will oversee transformation and operational programs that help teams scale their processes as products grow in complexity. You'll work closely with engineering, product, analytics, and cross-functional teams to align efforts with strategic goals, identify improvement opportunities, and drive change initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive complex, multi-disciplinary transformation and operational programs in service of delivering honest financial products
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment on strategy, priorities, and key decisions
- Implement lean processes and establish better ways of working; build a culture of continuous iteration and improvement
- Establish and run data-driven operational frameworks to track portfolio performance against OKRs and enable better investment decisions
- Develop communication strategies to ensure critical information flows seamlessly across the organization
- Partner with teams to plan change requirements, identify risks, manage dependencies, and establish tools for clarity and efficiency
- Identify systemic inefficiencies and experiment with solutions to bring transparency, visibility, and accountability
You bring 8+ years of proven experience managing programs, processes, and change management in technology-focused environments. You have a strong technical background with deep understanding of software development processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a track record of successfully implementing frameworks at scale. Experience in fintech, payments, or commerce is a plus. You're organized, strategic, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving consumer finance.
