Cloaked is a Series B-funded privacy and security company protecting over 10 million identities through masked emails, phone numbers, payment cards, data removal services, and AI voice agents. The company has screened 50M+ calls and removed 1B+ records from data brokers.
You will own the internal software factory, systems, and developer tools that enable Cloaked's engineering organization to build and ship products faster. This role spans the entire engineering workflow—how teams plan, build, review, test, and ship code—with a focus on integrating AI agents into each step.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the product that makes every engineering team faster: AI tools, workflows, and systems behind how Cloaked builds and ships
- Managing third-party tools (procurement, setup, upkeep) and building internal tools where needed
- Deciding where AI agents should write, review, test, and fix code, and where human oversight is required
- Treating every team at Cloaked (engineers, product managers, designers, business ops) as your customer; identifying bottlenecks and shipping solutions
- Building small fixes yourself when efficient; delegating larger work to your engineering team
- Defining success metrics for internal tools (adoption, time saved, velocity improvements)
- Running the delivery organization like a product: planning, release processes, and measurement
- Connecting product engineers with platform and data teams to ensure alignment
- Managing intake and prioritization for the data team; turning frequent requests into self-service tools and automated reports
You will work with small engineering teams and partner closely with engineering leadership. Success means every team ships better work, faster.
Cloaked operates a hybrid model from NYC with two floors, state-of-the-art kitchens, and frequent team outings. The company offers flexible remote work as needed.

- Active experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) with examples to share
- Informed opinions on AI's role in software development, tested in practice
- Track record of building tools or side projects; entrepreneurial experience (including failed ventures) is a plus
- Ability to prioritize competing requests from smart, busy people and execute a clear plan
- Experience at a fast-growing company; understands that today's solutions may need rebuilding in six months
- Comfortable working with minimal resources and light process; moves fast and learns iteratively
