AeroVect is a Series A autonomous vehicle company transforming ground handling operations for airlines and ground service providers globally. The Sr. Technical Product Manager for Fleet Operations will define strategy, roadmap, and development of products enabling AeroVect's Autonomous Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) vehicles to operate safely and reliably at scale.
You will own the Fleet Operations product strategy and roadmap spanning remote assistance, dispatch, and fleet management systems. You'll serve as the voice of the customer, continuously gathering and synthesizing feedback from airline/airport customers and internal operators to inform priorities. You'll scope phased product milestones that unlock value and provide instrumentation for data-driven iterative development.
You will drive technical execution across real-time and infrastructure-heavy systems by partnering with Systems Engineering to decompose product needs into system requirements, test plans, and acceptance criteria. You'll participate in system design discussions with Infrastructure teams to ensure technical architectures align with product needs and operational realities. Working with Program Management, you'll ensure roadmap commitments are tracked, blockers surfaced early, and dependencies known. You'll prioritize the product backlog, balancing new features, technical debt, and bug fixes.
You'll provide cross-functional leadership as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for Fleet Operations products. You'll communicate product vision and status to stakeholders including senior leadership, engineering, operations, and external customers, translating complex technical concepts into clear language for non-technical audiences.
This role requires a unique blend of user-centric product thinking, technical fluency, and strong communication skills. You'll work closely with UX, infrastructure, autonomy, and operations teams to ensure products are intuitive and reliable.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of product management experience owning technically complex products end-to-end
- Experience building operator-facing or operational tooling in environments where reliability and real-time performance are non-negotiable
- Proven ability to ship 0→1 products in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
PREFERRED:
- Experience building teleoperations, remote assistance, or fleet management products
- Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to engage with infrastructure teams—read system design documents, reason about real-time system constraints, push back on technical decisions
- Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or safety-critical systems
- Understanding of dispatch, routing, and resource allocation systems
- Familiarity with airport/airline operations or large-scale fleet operations
