AeroVect is a Series A autonomous vehicle company transforming ground handling operations for airlines and ground service providers globally. The company develops Autonomous Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) vehicles and the software systems that enable them to operate safely and reliably at scale.
As Senior Technical Product Manager for Fleet Operations, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and development of products that enable AeroVect's AGSE vehicles to operate at scale. This includes defining and building remote assistance infrastructure, dispatch systems, and fleet monitoring tooling that customers depend on for reliable operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and own the Fleet Operations product strategy and roadmap, managing a multi-surface product spanning remote assistance, dispatch, and fleet management
- Serve as the voice of the customer by continuously gathering and synthesizing feedback from airline/airport customers and internal operators to inform priorities
- Scope phased product milestones that unlock value and provide instrumentation for data-driven iterative development
- Partner with Systems Engineering to decompose product needs into system requirements, test plans, and acceptance criteria
- Participate in system design discussions with Infrastructure teams to ensure technical architectures align with product needs and operational realities
- Work with Program Management to track roadmap commitments, surface blockers early, and identify dependencies
- Prioritize the product backlog, balancing new features, technical debt, and bug fixes
- Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for Fleet Operations products
- Communicate product vision and status to stakeholders including senior leadership, engineering, operations, and external customers
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear language for non-technical audiences
This role requires a unique blend of user-centric product thinking, technical fluency, and strong communication skills. You will work cross-functionally with UX, infrastructure, autonomy, and operations teams to ensure products are intuitive and reliable.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of product management experience owning technically complex products end-to-end
- Experience building operator-facing or operational tooling in environments where reliability and real-time performance are non-negotiable
- Proven ability to ship 0→1 products in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
PREFERRED:
- Experience building teleoperations, remote assistance, or fleet management products
- Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to engage with infrastructure teams—read system design documents, reason about real-time system constraints, and push back on technical decisions that don't serve product goals
- Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or safety-critical systems
- Understanding of dispatch, routing, and resource allocation systems
- Familiarity with airport/airline operations or large-scale fleet operations
