Braze is building an AI-powered translation infrastructure to modernize how the company localizes content across dozens of products, teams, and markets. Currently, localization runs through Phrase and manual processes that create bottlenecks. This Senior TPM role owns the product strategy, architecture, and execution of a new internal platform designed to remove friction while maintaining quality. You'll sit on the Content Platforms team as a senior individual contributor with no direct reports but significant influence across the organization. Your remit is to lead direction-setting, raise the bar on solutions, and pull colleagues from multiple teams—Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, Enablement, Product, Engineering, Support, and regional teams—toward better outcomes. Key responsibilities include: owning the localization infrastructure product roadmap and architecture decisions; partnering with engineers to design and ship multi-platform systems; building functional prototypes independently to validate ideas; designing self-serve workflows that let teams move forward without central bottlenecks; driving adoption of AI-assisted translation tooling while maintaining quality standards; making smart build-vs-buy decisions; and managing relationships with translation and localization vendors. This is an early-stage platform role where the architecture is still taking shape and problems aren't fully known. You'll be most effective if you thrive in ambiguity. The role is hands-on: you'll write code, ship prototypes, pair with engineers, and measure adoption. AI-assisted development is core to how the team works—you'll be expected to use it, build with it, and be opinionated about it. Your first job is to plug into the existing localization program, understand what's working and what isn't, and learn where the people closest to it see real opportunities. The platform must be informed by that reality, not imposed on it. AI won't replace human judgment in localization—you'll help figure out where human review is essential and design workflows that make that review fast, targeted, and high-quality. As the localization platform matures, the role is expected to expand into adjacent content operations problem areas. The right candidate sees localization as a way in, not the whole job. This is a role for people who'd rather shape how AI gets used than watch it happen to them.
