Beacon Biosignals is transforming precision medicine for the brain through at-home EEG platforms and diagnostics. As Senior Technical Product Manager, you will drive the definition and execution of next-generation medical devices that meet user needs, clinical requirements, business objectives, and regulatory expectations. You will report to the Director of Device Engineering and own product requirements, user needs, product roadmaps, usability activities, and design control deliverables. Working closely with systems, hardware, firmware, software, algorithm, manufacturing, quality, and clinical teams, you will translate customer and clinical insights into clear product requirements and development priorities. Key responsibilities include: owning product requirements and system-level product definition for major device product lines; translating customer needs, clinical requirements, and business objectives into actionable roadmaps; leading cross-functional tradeoff discussions balancing functionality, usability, technical risk, manufacturability, regulatory requirements, cost, and schedule; driving product development from concept through commercialization; coordinating usability studies and clinical feedback activities; supporting design control activities including requirements traceability and risk management; and communicating product status and roadmap updates to stakeholders. You will bring 5–8 years of product management, systems engineering, or technical leadership experience, with at least 3 years supporting hardware, medical device, or wearable development. You have demonstrated ability to work across multidisciplinary teams, understand engineering tradeoffs, and navigate regulated environments. Strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and experience with design controls, verification/validation, and manufacturing transfer are essential. Experience with modern product development tools (Ketryx, Jira, Figma, GitHub, Asana) is preferred. This is a hybrid role based in Greater Boston, with office hubs in Paris, Boston, New York, and San Francisco Bay Area.
