Aviatrix is seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to join the Product Management organization. You will create the technical collateral that enables sales engineers, field engineering, partners, and customers to effectively demo, teach, and get certified on Aviatrix's Cloud Native Security Fabric platform.
Key responsibilities include:
• Build demo and lab content in the shared demo environment—self-service scenarios, runbooks, and recorded demos for each significant new feature—enabling any solutions engineer to demo capabilities independently.
• Assemble the technical readiness bundle for each release, ensuring demos, runbooks, labs, and certification content exist before features are broadly sold.
• Serve as technical consultant to training, certification partners, and Sales Enablement, contributing subject-matter expertise and technical review across cloud network architecture, egress control, intrusion detection/prevention, zero trust, and Kubernetes security.
• Produce deep technical comparisons and competitive analysis for technical sellers.
• Work with pre-release builds and Engineering to build and validate demo material before general availability.
• Carry field technical perspectives back to Product Management and Engineering to inform roadmap and curriculum decisions.
• Use AI tools to prototype candidate capabilities and build proofs of concept to test ideas before engineering commitment.
• Evaluate and stress-test early, unreleased, and speculative concepts hands-on, including competitor capabilities, and provide evidence-backed recommendations.
• Use AI-assisted scripting and automation to keep demo environments, labs, and technical validation repeatable as the product evolves.
You will work alongside peers at AWS, Azure, and GCP, turning newly shipped capabilities into field-ready assets. This role is expected to influence what gets built next.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 8+ years of technical marketing experience documenting validated designs, reference architectures, case studies, blogs, and demos
• Comfortable presenting at webinars, roadshows, and conferences
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP (multi-cloud preferred)
• Solid networking fundamentals: routing, VPNs, transit architectures, load balancing, WAN/data center networking
• Network security experience: firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, zero trust, and cloud-native security concepts
• Flexibility to travel and support Pre-Sales on advanced pursuits
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to build, prototype, and automate; scripting and automation experience a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• Aviatrix ACE Professional and CSP Architect-level certification, or willingness to obtain
