Salary: USD 120,800 - 145,000 / annual
Webflow is seeking a Senior Technical Educator to create world-class educational content (video, written, and hands-on) for customers and the broader web development community. You'll be the technical voice and subject matter expert for Webflow's education program, building production-grade reference websites, presenting on camera, and ensuring all educational content is accurate, current, and empowering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build production-quality reference websites and components that serve as anchors for Webflow University courses, tutorials, and live training sessions
- Shape technical curriculum in partnership with instructional designers and video producers, defining scope and learning objectives before production begins
- Present technical content on camera for tutorials, course lessons, and live sessions, explaining code and design decisions with clarity and authenticity
- Collaborate with video producers and instructional designers through pre-production, shooting, and review cycles to ensure educational content drives real learning outcomes
- Serve as the education team's technical subject matter expert, reviewing all content for accuracy and real-world applicability
- Maintain the technical library as the platform evolves, identifying stale content, prioritizing rebuilds, and recognizing new teaching opportunities
- Partner with product and engineering teams to stay ahead of platform launches, ensuring education is ready at go-live rather than playing catch-up
You'll work hybrid from Webflow's San Francisco HQ, with 5–10 days per month in-office depending on recording schedules. You'll report to the Director, Education Video.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in technical education and web development/design
- Fluency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—you read, write, and explain code comfortably
- Fluency using AI to write, review, and refine code, especially HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Expert-level Webflow and web development proficiency, with a portfolio of sites and components you've built
- Demonstrated experience teaching technical concepts to mixed audiences through video, documentation, courses, workshops, or community work
- Willingness and ability to present on camera, whether from an outline, script, studio, or home setup
