Echodyne, a radar technology company specializing in solid-state beam-steering radar for autonomous vehicles, drones, and critical infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to manage and optimize its Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS cloud environments.
The role encompasses comprehensive administration of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams; user and license management; security, compliance, and data protection configurations; and PowerShell automation. You will troubleshoot complex authentication, mail flow, and collaboration issues while monitoring service health and security alerts.
On the Azure side, responsibilities include managing virtual machines, storage, networking, backup, and security; administering Microsoft Entra ID with Conditional Access and MFA; designing hybrid identity environments; and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions. You will also review workloads for reliability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
For AWS, you will administer EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Route 53, and CloudWatch; configure identity and permissions using least-privilege principles; manage cross-cloud networking; monitor infrastructure; and support cloud migrations.
Additionally, you will manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP; oversee endpoint security using Microsoft Intune; maintain system patching and vulnerability remediation; lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for infrastructure incidents; and develop technical documentation and operational runbooks. This is a hands-on senior technical role that serves as a resource for the IT team on complex infrastructure improvements and cloud initiatives.
