This Senior Support Engineer role is a high-impact technical position focused on solving complex customer challenges and improving support systems. Unlike reactive ticket-queue roles, this position requires independent ownership of enterprise-level issues, technical judgment, and the ability to turn recurring friction into lasting improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Independently owning and resolving complex technical issues for enterprise customers
- Leading investigations into ambiguous or high-severity issues and liaising during incidents
- Producing high-quality minimal reproductions, code snippets, and structured issue reports
- Mentoring other Support Engineers and elevating team capabilities
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering to surface patterns and influence improvements
- Authoring documentation and self-serve resources to reduce recurring issues
- Contributing to support infrastructure, tooling, and workflow improvements
- Participating in community support rotation while modeling clarity and empathy
You bring 4+ years of hands-on developer support or engineering experience, with strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web applications (Next.js). You excel at debugging across frontend, APIs, and infrastructure layers, and you're energized by solving ambiguous problems. You operate calmly under pressure, communicate clearly, and have a bias toward improving systems rather than just resolving individual tickets. You're curious, proactive, and comfortable mentoring peers through thoughtful collaboration.
