Reporting to the VP of Strategy, this role focuses on turning Spendesk's most important strategic priorities into concrete results. You will lead high-stakes, cross-functional initiatives working closely with senior leadership and teams across Product, Operations, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other functions. Key responsibilities include steering the execution of strategic initiatives critical to Spendesk's growth, structuring clear project governance and objectives, collaborating with senior leadership to align on strategic direction, driving planning and coordinating cross-functional teams, and tracking progress to leadership. Example projects include revamping pricing and packaging, augmenting operations and product with AI, and steering e-invoicing deployment in France. You will also contribute to defining and executing Spendesk's long-term strategy by participating in deep dives on strategic options (geographical or product expansion), steering yearly strategic and budget planning, and participating in the Corp Dev agenda including M&A opportunities analysis. Additionally, you will support the company cadence by contributing to the OKR process, coordinating Board meeting preparation, and preparing materials for key internal events. This is a hands-on role focused on impact rather than bureaucracy, offering rare visibility across the business and direct collaboration with senior leadership on initiatives that matter most to Spendesk's growth. Required qualifications include 3+ years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm, technology company, or fast-growing organization; proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects; strong analytical and structured thinking skills; excellent written and verbal communication; strong stakeholder management; comfort with ambiguity; and fluent English. Preferred qualifications include experience in both consulting and technology/SaaS, Financial Services or FinTech background, understanding of technology products, French fluency, and graduation from a top business or engineering school.
