Checkout.com is a global fintech platform powering over 10 billion transactions yearly for companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. The CEO Office works with senior leadership on high-priority strategic and operational initiatives, turning important questions into clear decisions and measurable business outcomes.
This is a hands-on, manager-level individual-contributor role focused on owning defined cross-functional initiatives end-to-end. You will work closely with the Head of the CEO Office to combine structured problem-solving with execution. The role is neither a traditional PMO nor a presentation-led strategy position—it requires sound judgment, analytical rigor, clear communication, operational follow-through, and the ability to influence without formal authority.
Key responsibilities include: supporting the CEO and Head of the CEO Office on critical cross-functional initiatives by coordinating day-to-day delivery and stakeholder collaboration; investigating complex, ambiguous problems by clarifying issues, developing practical solutions, and supporting implementation of durable processes; assisting departments in scaling through organization design, objectives and KPI setting, and robust operating processes; and helping leadership navigate ambiguity by surfacing insights, decisions, and risks while coordinating follow-through across teams.
Projects may span organizational model design, international expansion strategy, scaling new business lines, strategic planning, go-to-market execution, regulatory and financial infrastructure initiatives, and board/shareholder reporting.
Ideal candidates bring experience from fast-paced, high-performance environments such as consulting, high-growth technology, investing, investment banking, or strategic finance. Problem-solving strengths include first-principles thinking, data analysis, and moving between strategic and operational detail. You should demonstrate ability to turn analysis into practical plans, KPIs, processes, and systems; personally own cross-functional work; build trust and navigate trade-offs without formal authority; and show learning agility and entrepreneurial mindset. Payments or fintech exposure and international experience are advantageous. The company operates on a hybrid model with three days per week in the London office.
