Cellanome is a well-funded biotech startup developing next-generation life science instrument platforms. We are seeking a Senior Staff Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead the scaling and maturation of manufacturing for key consumable components of our novel platform.
In this role, you will oversee consumable life cycle management (LCM) from New Product Introduction (NPI) through continuous improvement and sustaining engineering. You will be responsible for leading new process transfer and qualification activities, transitioning products from R&D and pilot scale into full-scale production. You will represent Operations on cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, providing critical manufacturability, process, and operational input into design and business decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead process transfer and qualification of new consumable manufacturing processes
- Transition products from R&D and pilot scale to full-scale production
- Represent Consumable LCM on cross-functional product development teams
- Provide manufacturability and operational input into design and business decisions
- Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations
- Lead sustaining engineering for released consumable products
- Manage the full product lifecycle from development through commercialization
