Tripadvisor is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join its Finance team in Oxford. This hybrid role (1 day/week in office) focuses on supporting Order-to-Cash accounting processes across multiple products and payment platforms in a high-volume transaction environment. Key responsibilities include: - Managing daily and month-end Order-to-Cash accounting processes across diverse product lines and payment systems - Performing high-volume data reconciliations across financial systems, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring financial accuracy - Analyzing transactional activity, preparing reconciliations, and supporting accurate financial reporting - Partnering cross-functionally with Finance Systems, Engineering, Product, Sales Operations, FP&A, and Customer Operations teams to resolve accounting and billing issues - Supporting finance system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation of new processes - Preparing balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and month-end close activities - Documenting and improving financial processes and internal controls - Supporting internal and external audits with documentation and responses - Identifying automation opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability of finance operations Required qualifications: - 2+ years in accounting, finance operations, financial systems, or related role - Experience with ERP platforms (Workday) and CRM systems (Salesforce) - Background supporting B2C Order-to-Cash processes in high-volume environments - Proficiency with SQL, BigQuery, Power Query, Alteryx, or similar data analysis tools - Experience with finance systems implementations, process automation, or continuous improvement - Strong audit support and financial controls experience - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent practical experience - Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, large datasets) - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Desired traits: curiosity about financial systems and technology, attention to detail, collaborative approach, proactive mindset toward process improvement, high integrity and accountability, adaptability to new systems and tools.
