Checkout.com is a global fintech platform powering over 10 billion transactions yearly for companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. As Senior Specialist, Account Management, you'll manage a personal book of business serving as the primary point of contact for enterprise merchant accounts.
You'll drive commercial growth by identifying merchant needs, leading pricing negotiations, and developing upsell/cross-sell strategies for value-added products. Using internal data visualization tools, you'll provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to help merchants optimize their operations.
A key part of the role is serving as the "Voice of the Merchant" internally—partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Integration teams to influence the product roadmap based on evolving customer needs. You'll coordinate operational processes like deal desk reviews and contract amendments, and manage Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and business reviews for Tier 1 accounts.
You'll need 2+ years in customer-oriented roles (preferably B2B), with proven ability to manage enterprise accounts and maintain relationships with C-suite executives. Strong commercial acumen, target-driven mindset, and experience managing sales KPIs are essential. You should demonstrate deep curiosity about payments, customer business models, and growth strategy. Exceptional communication, project management, and comfort with large datasets are required. You'll work independently across global time zones in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
