Salary: PLN 330,000 - 484,000 / annual
Okta is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its growing pre-sales team in Warsaw. In this role, you will be a pivotal technical resource supporting customers throughout their entire sales journey—from discovery and validation through proposal and due diligence. You will deliver live product demonstrations, create compelling presentations, and educate diverse stakeholder groups (from developers and security engineers to CISOs and CIOs) on Okta's identity and access management platform.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Supporting the sales team as the primary technical counterpart, enabling customers to validate Okta's platform value
- Designing and executing outcome-driven Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Bridging business and technical perspectives for audiences with varying technical depth
- Focusing on Okta Workforce Identity solutions, addressing both feature-level and deep technical inquiries
- Collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to provide customer feedback and influence roadmaps
- Representing Okta at local and regional events as a speaker and attendee
- Continuously expanding your knowledge of identity, security, cloud technologies, and Okta's product ecosystem
You will work with enterprise customers on complex identity challenges, including Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Passwordless Authentication, Universal Directory, Privileged Access, and Device Access solutions. The role demands strong communication skills, the ability to simplify complex technical concepts, and a genuine passion for customer success.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience or equivalent customer-facing technical role (consulting, professional services)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to troubleshoot integration and identity federation issues
- Interest in Identity and Access Management, cloud technologies, and security concepts
- Fluency in Polish and English (required)
- Familiarity with enterprise systems (Active Directory, HRIS, SaaS applications)
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and modern security concepts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, FIDO, SCIM, LDAP)
- Understanding of identity-related cybersecurity topics (phishing, MFA bypass attacks, privilege escalation)
- Experience with REST APIs, Postman, or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell)
- Familiarity with Okta's product suite
- Fluency in additional European languages (Dutch, French, or German)
- Familiarity with AI tools and basic understanding of how they work
