Clio is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to join its Sales team across Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary. This role bridges technical expertise and sales strategy, focusing on Clio's financial performance suite (Clio Accounting and Clio Payments) and how it solves complex challenges for law firms.
You will own the technical deal cycle for assigned opportunities, defining and executing demonstration strategies for financial products. Your responsibilities include building proof-of-concepts that connect product features to tangible ROI, articulating value to customers navigating billing, trust accounting, and financial reporting challenges, and partnering with Account Executives to close new business. You'll also enable the broader sales team by sharing financial and technical expertise, support the full sales lifecycle from scoping through handoff to Customer Success, and influence product direction by sharing market feedback with Product and Engineering teams.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience managing law firm operations (as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or Firm Administrator) or selling and supporting financial software (Aderant, Elite, FreshBooks, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, Xero, or similar). You should have strong communication skills to explain complex technical or financial solutions to diverse stakeholders, solid understanding of cloud technologies (APIs, database migrations, security), creative problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to build trust-based relationships with internal teams and external customers. Adaptability in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities is essential.
Bonus qualifications include CPA designation or other accounting accreditation, experience with legal practice management or legal research solutions, baseline legal domain knowledge, and proficiency leveraging AI tools to accelerate work (drafting RFP responses, building demo environments, analyzing data).
Clio offers a hybrid work environment with expectations for local employees to be in-office minimum twice per week. The company provides competitive, equitable salary with top-tier health benefits, dental and vision insurance, flexible time off (20 days encouraged annually), $2,000 annual counseling benefit, RRSP matching and RESP contributions, and a Clioversary recognition program.
