New Relic is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant (Senior Observability Presales Engineer) to establish the company's presence in Thailand and lead the Southeast Asia market expansion. This is a hybrid role based in Bangkok, offering remote-first flexibility while requiring in-person collaboration with the team and customers as needed.
You will be the foundational technical expert on the ground, working hand-in-glove with two experienced Account Executives to drive significant technical wins across the region. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong presales acumen to deliver transformative outcomes for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead technical expert for New Relic in Thailand, owning and driving technical presales engagements from qualification through successful close
- Partner closely with regional Account Executives to provide technical sales support and strategy for new business and account expansion
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with customers and prospects, becoming their go-to advisor for observability strategy
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, Proof of Value workshops, and compelling business justifications
- Evangelize New Relic's capabilities and provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams
Requirements:
- Fluent proficiency in both Thai and English (essential, with major focus on Thai market)
- Strong understanding of hyperscaler software, specifically AWS and Azure
- Proven presales or consulting experience with ability to independently lead complex enterprise engagements
- Deep expertise across enterprise technology layers: user experience, modern cloud applications, and infrastructure
- Solid grasp of native cloud technologies: Kubernetes, containers, microservices, SRE, DevOps, CI/CD
- Experience with performance monitoring tools (infrastructure, application, web/mobile, network, user experience, CX)
- Exceptional stakeholder management and customer engagement skills
Bonus Qualifications:
- Direct experience in Observability or background in software security
- Understanding of OpenTelemetry or Software Consumption pricing models
- Experience in FinTech or Financial Services sector
- Familiarity with SAP technology
- Background in mobile device platforms (iOS & Android)
- Experience working with partners
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field
