Salary: EUR 109,700 - 131,600 / annual
Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join the Customer Experience team. This is a hands-on, customer-first role focused on helping organizations solve complex observability challenges, accelerate Grafana adoption, and drive measurable business outcomes.
You will serve as a trusted technical partner—not a sales-focused role, but a customer advocate who leads with authenticity and deep technical insight. You'll guide customers through onboarding, implementation, and expansion phases by delivering white-glove support, best practices, and proven strategies from across the customer base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working directly with customers (executives, project managers, IT staff) to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Designing and delivering solutions encompassing data visualization, workflow optimization, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture
- Leading functional workshops, documenting requirements, and designing appropriate solutions
- Delivering high-impact training and jumpstart engagements with tailored technical consulting
- Acting as an embedded partner during critical implementation phases, providing roadmap guidance and ensuring Grafana capabilities align with customer architecture and goals
- Identifying recurring issues, monitoring support needs, and advocating for product improvements with internal teams
- Staying current on Grafana, observability technologies, and industry best practices
- Collaborating with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams to drive innovation
You'll operate with technical depth (understanding container orchestration, Prometheus queries, logs/metrics/traces) while maintaining strategic business perspective. Speed and execution are paramount—this team is nimble and focused on accelerating customer success.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Located in Germany
- 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams using project management techniques
- Direct experience with observability (o11y) implementations
- Best practices for deploying observability stacks (visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, traces), preferably with Grafana products (Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, Jaeger/Tempo)
- Proven track record of successful enterprise observability implementations for large customers
- Excellent communication skills across customers, partners, and internal teams
- Kubernetes experience (kubectl, Helm, Tanka preferred)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
