Chainguard is a venture-backed software supply-chain security company that delivers hardened, secure, production-ready builds of open source software. The company serves Fortune 500 enterprises and global leaders including OpenAI, Snap, Snowflake, and HPE.
As a Senior Solutions Architect in Professional Services, you will lead technical implementations and drive customer adoption of Chainguard's container image security platform. You'll work directly with customers to help them build secure software using open source, partnering closely with account executives, customer success managers, and support teams to understand customer vision, pain points, and strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end technical implementations and onboarding of Chainguard Images
- Acting as "customer zero" to test, document, and ensure smooth customer experiences
- Partnering with product and engineering teams to convey customer requirements and influence prioritization
- Communicating technical information to diverse audiences—from engineers to C-suite executives
- Maintaining account-level architecture documentation and sharing best practices across the organization
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive value realization and retention/growth
You'll need 8+ years developing high-performance multi-tier applications with strong Kubernetes and container expertise. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT is required. You should excel at translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, have a passion for solving complex problems, and be comfortable traveling up to 15% of the time. The role is based remotely within EMEA with flexibility to work from anywhere in the region.
