GitLab is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect based remotely to serve as a trusted technical advisor for prospects and customers evaluating GitLab's Agentic DevSecOps platform. You will help organizations understand how GitLab supports their technical requirements and business goals across AI-driven software development lifecycles.
In this role, you will report to a regional Solutions Architect leader and work closely with Account Executives and cross-functional partners across Asia. Your responsibilities include:
- Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams to develop technical account strategies that increase qualified pipeline and support expansion opportunities
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and validation activities to define success criteria and accelerate technical evaluation
- Own technical evaluations as the primary point of contact, including proof of concept, proof of value activities, solution design, and workshop delivery
- Develop solution architectures that align GitLab capabilities with customer environments, priorities, and operating models to reduce implementation risk
- Guide customers on modern software development practices including CI/CD, security, and cloud adoption
- Build strong relationships with technical practitioners and business stakeholders to strengthen alignment and support GitLab-based transformation efforts
- Create reusable technical examples, best practices, and collateral to improve team effectiveness
- Provide customer feedback, field insights, and market observations to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to influence roadmap priorities
You will work at the intersection of customer outcomes, modern software delivery, cloud, security, and emerging agentic AI workflows, helping organizations ship trusted software at scale.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2+ years of presales or equivalent client-facing experience, with a total of 5+ years of industry experience
- Experience running technical evaluations such as proofs of concept, proofs of value, workshops, tenders, audits, or value stream assessments
- Working knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows
- Hands-on familiarity with GitLab or similar DevSecOps or software delivery platforms
- Clear communication skills with the ability to adapt technical messages for practitioners, technical stakeholders, and senior business stakeholders
- Strength in building credibility, listening carefully, developing technical champions, and representing customer needs to internal teams
- Interest in continuous learning and developing expertise in GitLab, AI, and related cloud technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, self-managed environments, or transferable experience from related technical fields is welcomed
- Competent knowledge of generative AI and agentic technologies is a plus
