This Enterprise Account Executive role is a full-cycle sales position focused on acquiring new Mid Market clients across Latin America. You will own the entire sales process—from pipeline generation through deal closure—and maintain account ownership through the first renewal and early expansion phases.
The role is structured around new business acquisition (70% of time), where you will generate and manage your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, referrals, and account mapping. You will run consultative sales cycles with HR, L&D, and technology leaders, build business cases connecting Platzi's solutions to client talent and upskilling goals, manage multiple stakeholders, and close multi-seat contracts in the 70K–100K USD ACV range.
Account growth and retention (20% of time) involves owning the post-sale handoff, monitoring license adoption and client health, driving first renewals, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Pipeline discipline and collaboration (10% of time) requires maintaining 100% CRM accuracy in HubSpot, partnering with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams, and staying current on industry trends.
Platzi offers equity participation for all team members, extended maternity/paternity leave, 15 days vacation annually, hardware and tools, professional development books, online therapy coverage, and annual in-person team gatherings.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS, EdTech, HR-tech, or technology services sales experience, ideally selling to Enterprise companies in Latin America
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding new-business quota, closing deals in the 70K–100K USD ACV range
- Hands-on experience generating self-sourced pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or account mapping
- Strong consultative selling skills and working knowledge of a sales methodology (SPIN, BANT, MEDDIC, or similar)
- Strong closing ability: objection handling, negotiation, follow-up discipline, and deal closure
- Experience retaining and growing closed accounts through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells
- Comfortable engaging with decision-makers (HR, L&D, CTOs, CEOs) at Mid Market companies with strong professional presence and communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot or Salesforce) and data-driven pipeline management
- English level B2 or above with strong written and verbal skills
- Nice to have: experience in high-growth startups or selling corporate learning solutions
