As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will drive customer technical implementation and adoption of Airbyte's data integration platform, particularly as it relates to AI agent architectures. You'll be a key bridge between customers and internal teams (GTM, Product, Engineering), helping enterprise clients implement solutions while advocating for their needs within the company.
Key responsibilities include:
**Technical Implementation & Support**
- Lead and execute customer technical projects, including implementation and deployment of Airbyte solutions aligned with client requirements and best practices
- Provide hands-on technical guidance throughout the customer journey
- Troubleshoot complex Kubernetes workloads, including pods, networking, storage, and resource management in production environments
- Advise on database technologies including SQL, CDC (Change Data Capture), database replication, and data synchronization
- Support REST API integration, authentication methods (OAuth, API keys, JWT), webhooks, and JSON troubleshooting
- Guide customers on integrating LLM-based tooling with their data infrastructure
**Client Engagement**
- Work directly with clients' technical teams to understand needs and tailor solutions
- Manage technical success by collaborating with Airbyte's support, Product, and Engineering teams
- Help clients evaluate and adopt AI agent frameworks that leverage Airbyte as a data source
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Partner with Sales to identify growth opportunities with existing customers
- Serve as the internal source of truth for customer technical requirements and needed functionalities
- Influence product roadmap by surfacing customer needs to Product and Engineering teams
**Advocacy & Evangelism**
- Demonstrate Airbyte's offerings and best practices to clients and at industry events
- Serve as a brand ambassador promoting the company's mission
- Evangelize best practices for building AI-ready data stacks
- Create and deliver technical content (blog posts, demos, conference talks) showcasing Airbyte's role in modern AI architectures
**Requirements:**
- 6+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles (solutions architect, professional services engineer, consulting)
- 2+ years of experience in a startup environment, ideally in modern data infrastructure (cloud applications, databases, ELT tools, data warehouses)
- Hands-on experience with one or more AI frameworks
- Exposure to AI agent frameworks and prompt engineering best practices (strong plus)
- Proven track record supporting products that directly impact business productivity
- Exceptional customer orientation with focus on seamless onboarding and technical success
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
