Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer for the Netherlands market to solve complex customer challenges and drive technical wins in the sales cycle.
In this role, you will partner directly with account sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize support during evaluations, and help customers choose Snowflake as their solution. You will work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate Snowflake's value from initial demo through proof of concept, design, and implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and technical teams at prospects and customers
- Conduct hands-on demonstrations and communicate value throughout the sales cycle
- Develop technical champions within accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins
- Stay current with Snowflake's roadmap and confidently present new features and functionality
- Maintain deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake accordingly
- Collaborate with other sales engineers, sharing wins and losses to continuously improve
- Work with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and marketing
- Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events
- Partner with ecosystem and implementation partners on joint architectures and account strategies
- Proactively contribute to account and territory planning and execution

REQUIREMENTS:
- Solution engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment, or relevant industry experience (analytics, data science, data engineering)
- Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences (whiteboard, presentations, demos)
- Understanding of and hands-on experience with data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology
- Hands-on experience with SQL
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake solutions
- Strong customer-facing communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate vision to diverse audiences
- Fluency or native Dutch language proficiency
PREFERRED:
- Hands-on experience with Python
- Experience with modern data technology (dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, Git)
- Experience with AI, data science, and machine learning technologies
