Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer for the Netherlands market to solve complex customer challenges and drive sales success. You will work directly with account sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize support during evaluations, and help customers choose Snowflake as their solution.
In this role, you will present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and technical teams at prospects and customers. You'll work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle—from initial demo through proof of concept to design and implementation. You'll create and develop technical champions within accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
You will stay at the cutting edge of Snowflake technology, confidently presenting roadmap features and functionality. You'll maintain deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies, positioning Snowflake effectively in the market. Collaboration is key: you'll work closely with other sales engineers, product management, engineering, and marketing to continuously improve products and marketing. You'll represent Snowflake at industry and customer events, work with ecosystem and implementation partners on joint architectures and account strategies, and proactively contribute to account and territory planning.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Solution engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience (analytics, data science, data engineering)
- Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences (impromptu whiteboard or formal presentations/demos)
- Understanding of and hands-on experience with data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology
- Hands-on experience with SQL
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake solutions
- Customer-facing skills to effectively communicate vision to diverse technical and executive audiences (written and verbal)
- Fluency or native Dutch language proficiency
PREFERRED:
- Hands-on experience with Python
- Experience with modern data technology (dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, Git)
- Experience with AI, data science, and machine learning technologies
