CoMind is developing non-invasive neuromonitoring technology to transform clinical brain monitoring and improve diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders. As a Senior Software QA Engineer on the CoVision project, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and effectiveness of medical device software through comprehensive Verification and Validation (V&V) processes across the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
Key responsibilities include: building compliance-as-code workflows that map verification evidence to regulatory standards and generate evidence automatically; owning comprehensive test plans, protocols, and execution reports for medical device software; driving formal software verification and validation to ensure adherence to IEC 62304 (Class C) and ISO 14971 standards; advancing test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and emerging testing techniques including LLM-assisted quality gates; and collaborating with systems engineers to test multi-tasking systems and signal-processing applications on real hardware.
You will need 5+ years of software testing experience, particularly with complex or safety-critical systems. Python proficiency is required, along with strong hands-on experience in CI/CD, test automation, and build systems. Experience in highly regulated industries, preferably medical device development, is essential. You should have demonstrated expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
