As a Senior Software Engineer on the Procure-to-Pay team, you will act as a high-leverage technical leader protecting Zone against long-term technical and business costs. You'll own the technical delivery of complex product modules, collaborating with Product, Architecture, and FinOps leads to translate vague business requirements into high-integrity technical plans. Your scope includes defining patterns for multi-entity consolidation and global tax compliance across NOAM, EMEA, and APAC regions.
Key responsibilities include architecting and delivering complex, scalable features; leading AI integration as a force multiplier; protecting system integrity through early identification of technical tradeoffs; decomposing requirements into staged execution plans; driving automated validation frameworks for US GAAP and IFRS compliance; translating technical debt into business consequences; proactively refactoring fragile code paths; anticipating architectural bottlenecks; mentoring mid-level and junior engineers; and owning delivery against OKRs with accountability for outcomes, quality, and timelines.
This role is distinctive in engineering "Agentic Finance"—building systems that allow autonomous AI agents to perform high-consequence financial tasks with 100% reliability. Your work will power critical financial operations for customers including Tripadvisor, Next Insurance, and Sumo Logic.
