As a Senior Software Engineer II, Fullstack, you will build products that power the post-purchase experience for major retail brands. Your primary focus will be frontend development using React and modern frameworks, where you'll implement new product features, build reusable platform components for internal and external products (including Shopify and Salesforce integrations), and translate wireframes into functional UI components. You'll contribute to overall architecture and maintain code quality standards by partnering with other senior engineers.
Secondary responsibilities include backend development using Golang and Node.js, working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and databases like PostgreSQL, Spanner, and BigQuery. You'll design and implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs and understand microservice architecture patterns.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience building reliable, scalable systems with a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent. You should have strong experience with React or similar frontend frameworks, backend development in Node.js or Golang, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). You'll demonstrate strong focus on code quality, code reviews, and have experience mentoring other engineers. Startup experience with a growth and product engineering mindset is strongly preferred.
