As a Senior Software Engineer on the Identity Verification Team, you will design and develop innovative, scalable solutions for verifying identities of individuals and businesses globally.
You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of features—from conceptualization and design through production deployment and monitoring. Your work will leverage state-of-the-art orchestration technologies, generative AI, and computer vision to build next-generation verification products. You'll collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, Data Scientists, and Data teams to deliver intelligent, production-ready solutions while researching and integrating emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities include driving the design of complex, scalable applications for real-world identity verification challenges in a microservices architecture; taking full ownership of new and existing features; actively collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Risk); championing technical excellence and knowledge sharing; writing clean, maintainable, testable code on high-impact systems; building and operating systems to the highest resilience standards; and mentoring junior team members.
You bring a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working with complex, large-scale, diversified applications and tech stacks. You have strong proficiency in C# .NET with deep understanding of backend or full-stack software development principles. You excel at communication, work effectively in agile environments, solve problems independently and collaboratively, and are AI-proficient or AI-curious. French language proficiency at B2 level minimum is required.
Bonus qualifications include experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Prometheus; databases like PostgreSQL, Mongo, Redis; solving real-world business problems through data-driven approaches; and experience with other programming languages. Payments or financial knowledge is a plus but not required.
