As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and scale backend systems powering consumer-facing financial products. Key responsibilities include building and refining APIs that deliver seamless experiences, collaborating across product, credit/finance, compliance, support, and analytics teams, and contributing to technical discussions and roadmap planning. You'll drive continuous improvement in code quality, security, and operational excellence while mentoring peers and establishing engineering best practices.
The role requires 6+ years of backend engineering experience with proficiency in .NET/C# or similar frameworks. You should have demonstrated experience scaling consumer-facing products handling significant transaction volumes. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver who values inclusion and continuous learning, and can effectively leverage AI-powered development tools like Cursor and Augment to enhance productivity and code quality.
