As a Senior Software Engineer in the Authorization team, you will be a reliable driver of quality and velocity, ensuring seamless execution across distributed time zones. You'll develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and well-documented services using Go, NodeJS, or Python. Your responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain production-quality microservices with emphasis on performance, maintainability, and reduced latency for global users
- Design and implement comprehensive automated test suites for new features and legacy services, championing CI/CD gates to enforce quality standards
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX teams across multiple time zones during feature discovery and technical feasibility assessment
- Define monitoring, alerts, and runbooks to enable reliable, zero-downtime deployments for distributed operations
- Drive process improvements across the engineering team, promoting automated tools and leveraging AI to accelerate development cycles
- Participate in on-call shifts and respond to production alerts during assigned windows
You'll work with a modern tech stack including GoLang, Node, Docker, ELK Stack, and Redis. The role emphasizes asynchronous communication, written documentation (GitOps), and strict Definition of Done practices in a geographically distributed environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of industry programming experience with proven track record of delivering end-to-end production-quality, complex, and scalable software products
- Proficiency in Go, NodeJS, and/or Python; willingness to learn VueJS for full-stack integration
- Deep understanding of core Auth/IAM technologies: OAuth 2.0, OIDC (OpenID Connect), JWT, and IAM systems
- Aptitude for Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud technology concepts
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in geographically distributed team environments with asynchronous communication and written documentation practices
- Excellent organizational and technical leadership skills; ability to drive consensus and facilitate effective decision-making across multiple time zones
- Fluent English (spoken and written) for interviews and internal business communication
