Zeta Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for the real-time data collection and delivery group. You will architect, develop, and own systems that power the Zeta Marketing Platform and LiveIntent, enabling access to core identity solutions. This role involves designing and maintaining real-time infrastructure, developing services for data collection and processing, and mentoring developers across the organization.
You will collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and Executives to develop roadmaps for next-generation multichannel marketing solutions that unify data across digital touchpoints and drive return on marketing investment. Key responsibilities include building and tuning real-time infrastructure, designing and maintaining data collection and processing services, working with Product Managers on data products, collaborating with DevOps on infrastructure scaling and optimization, participating in architecture discussions, and participating in on-call rotation.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will influence the roadmap, take ownership of new projects, and guide the organization through knowledge-sharing sessions. You should have deep expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture, with a passion for working with large amounts of data and designing reliable, low-latency data processing systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience/fluency in Scala/Java
- Proficient with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with cloud services (AWS) at scale
- Experience with Terraform
- Expertise in designing and architecting distributed, low-latency, scalable solutions in cloud
- Exposure to the full software development lifecycle from inception to production and monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Agile software development experience
DESIRED:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field from English-language university
- Experience with container-based solutions
- Familiarity with libraries such as ZIO, Akka, Play Framework
- Long-term experience with distributed data processing at scale
- Experience in advertising attribution domain
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
