Skyflow is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to develop a state-of-the-art SaaS platform that enables enterprises to govern and protect sensitive data across datastores, models, and agents. As a backend engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing Privacy APIs and backend infrastructure to support large-scale data and privacy workflows. You will contribute to performance engineering efforts, ensuring low-latency and high-throughput transactions at scale, and participate in building effective test strategies with high agility and zero downtime.
The role requires 5+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Go (preferred), Java, C, C++, or Python. You should have deep expertise in performance engineering, algorithms, data structures, scalability, and distributed systems. Experience with privacy, authorization/authentication engineering is highly valued. You will be expected to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering cloud-native distributed SaaS platforms at scale with meaningful adoption.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing privacy-focused backend solutions, collaborating with security and privacy engineers to deliver state-of-the-art privacy solutions, and enforcing best practices in software quality, security, testing, and documentation. You should be a fast learner, adaptable to changing landscapes, and committed to hands-on development. Experience with continuous integration, test-driven development, and writing testable code is essential.
