As a Senior Software Engineer on the Business Logic pod, you will own critical systems that power the company's operations: subscriptions, pricing, billing, and order generation. These are foundational systems that everything else depends on, and you'll be reshaping them to support the next phase of growth.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading the end-to-end lifecycle of complex systems and features, from architectural design through long-term production operation
- Owning what you ship in production, not just code review
- Decomposing ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions
- Making architectural decisions that other engineers will build on for years
- Partnering closely with other engineering pods, Product, Design, Data Analytics, and Lifecycle Communications teams
- Participating in whiteboarding, pair programming, and architecture reviews with high-bar peers
- Shipping peer-reviewed code to production in minutes via CI/CD, using A/B experiments, feature flags, shadow deployments, and progressive rollouts
The engineering culture emphasizes short feedback loops, trust, and continuous improvement. The company designs, builds, and operates all technology in-house to own the customer experience end-to-end. Engineers work on hard problems that matter: evolving systems for rapid growth, building flexible platforms for diverse customer needs, and creating novel product experiences.
The broader company culture values cross-functional collaboration (no siloed departments), customer-centric decision-making, skepticism about assumptions, and execution for impact rather than following industry benchmarks.
