Salesforce Professional Services is seeking a Senior Technical Architect specializing in Agentforce for Life Sciences (AFLS) to serve as a strategic advisor to the company's largest and most complex life sciences enterprise customers. You will help architect and deliver agentic, AI-first solutions across commercial and clinical operations for pharmaceutical and biopharma organizations. Key responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice, and guiding customers in deploying emerging technologies that drive business value. You will work collaboratively with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions, manage customer expectations, and proactively manage risk areas. Your role involves reviewing project direction and artifacts to ensure solutions remain extendable and maintainable, while contributing to program vision and articulating strategies for enabling technologies on the Salesforce Platform. You will leverage deep expertise in enterprise architecture, Salesforce Core Projects, application design, data architecture, integration patterns, and security architecture. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience, 4+ years leading Salesforce Core Projects, and significant experience in the life sciences industry—particularly pharmaceutical commercial operations, field force engagement, HCP/HCO relationship management, or regulatory compliance. Required qualifications include strong presentation skills, detail orientation, rapid learning ability, excellent written and verbal communication, and proven ability to analyze and optimize business processes via technology. You should be resourceful, innovative, and capable of solving complex problems. The role values trust, integrity, transparency, collaboration, and the ability to communicate with authority to C-level executives and diverse stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications or the new Salesforce Certified Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant credential; hands-on experience with AFLS or equivalent life sciences CRM platforms; and experience supporting implementations for major pharmaceutical companies.
