The company is backed by top-tier VCs including Quiet Capital, Costanoa Ventures, and Coinbase Ventures, with a leadership team from PayPal, Credit Karma, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
As Senior Sales Executive for Global Logistics Payments, you will lead Tensec's market entry into Mexico's logistics and trade corridor, a market moving billions in annual trade value. You'll own territory development and revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing carriers, freight forwarders, and commodity traders operating Mexico's trade flows across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Your core responsibilities include:
• Account Development & TPV Growth: Build multi-threaded relationships with commercial, treasury, operations, and compliance stakeholders at target accounts. Own total payment volume growth and account penetration across Mexico's global trade flows.
• Payments & FX Positioning: Translate Tensec's cross-border payment structures and regulatory intelligence into quantified commercial cases tailored to client cost structures.
• Enterprise Deal Leadership: Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through pilot, activation, and expansion. Navigate deal risk across global accounts in the Mexico corridor.
• Market Intelligence: Feed market signals, corridor economics, freight dynamics, and regulatory shifts back to product and compliance teams to refine the offering.
• Compliance-Aligned Activation: Partner with compliance on KYB, regulatory alignment, and onboarding to move accounts from signed to live.
You bring 8+ years of progressive enterprise sales or business development experience in international transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or global supply chain. You have established relationships and credibility in Mexico's international trade ecosystem, understand how carriers and freight forwarders operate, and can hold credible conversations with commercial and operations leaders from day one. Native or near-native fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the Monterrey office. Compensation includes base salary, variable compensation, health insurance, meal vouchers, paid time off, and learning & development budget.
