Zscaler is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Solutions Consulting team, reporting to the Senior Sales Engineering Manager. This hybrid role is based in the UK and focuses on driving technical excellence in customer engagements.
In this role, you will be a key technical driver presenting the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform—a cloud-native SASE security solution protecting thousands of customers globally—to prospective clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating customer business goals into compelling technical recommendations and guiding them through their security transformation journey.
Key responsibilities include:
- Presenting and demonstrating the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers
- Gathering and analyzing customer technical requirements
- Developing and delivering high-impact proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, presentations, and demos
- Partnering closely with sales teams to articulate value propositions aligned with customer objectives
- Serving as a technical thought leader and trusted advisor throughout the customer evaluation and buying process

Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator
- Deep knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies
- Proficiency with Value Selling Methodologies
- Proven experience partnering with sales to deliver high-impact presentations, demos, and POC engagements
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions
Preferred qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency
- Practical experience architecting or demonstrating AI-enhanced cybersecurity platforms, automated threat response tools, or machine learning-driven network analytics
- Cloud Platform certifications, CISSP, or CCNP
- Subject matter expertise in SASE, Proxy technology, Cybersecurity, IPS, DLP, CASB, or CNAPP
