Zscaler is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join its Major Accounts Sales Engineering team in Tokyo. This hybrid role reports to the Manager of Sales Engineering and sits within the Sales and Go-to-Market organization.
You will provide technical expertise and strategic guidance to major enterprise customers, taking full ownership of the technical sales process and associated activities. Your responsibilities include independently delivering high-impact sales pitches, technical demonstrations, and whiteboard presentations to C-level and technical stakeholders. You will be a trusted technical advisor, helping customers understand how Zscaler's cloud-native Zero Trust Exchange platform addresses their security and digital transformation challenges.

Minimum qualifications include a BS in Computer Science or equivalent, with extensive experience as a Sales Engineer or systems integrator. You should have 7+ years in pre-sales roles, with at least 3 years focused on selling security or networking solutions in direct or high-touch enterprise environments. Strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences are essential.
