Tines, founded in 2018 with co-headquarters in Dublin and Boston, is seeking a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to design, build, and operationalize the compensation framework for its go-to-market team. This is a foundational, strategic role—not plan maintenance—where you will own the design problem end-to-end across a ~350-person GTM organization.
You will design the future-state compensation model, defining how performance is measured and credited across diverse revenue and pricing structures. This includes translating design into plan mechanics: crediting and recognition timing, ramps, accelerators, decelerators, and true-up/clawback logic. You will manage operations during the transition, architecting an approach where new and existing compensation plans run concurrently without disruption, and defining the path to converge on a single model.
Key responsibilities include building scenario and cost-of-compensation models to pressure-test design decisions before go-live; partnering with Finance to ensure compensation design aligns with revenue recognition and supporting forecasting, accruals, and budgeting; owning the system architecture by defining CaptivateIQ configuration and data models needed to support new performance metrics, including feeds from Salesforce and Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced; establishing governance through plan documentation, policy, crediting rules, and audit-ready controls; and influencing leadership through executive-level storytelling to drive adoption.
You bring 7–10 years of sales compensation and incentive design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS. You have direct, hands-on experience designing commission models beyond subscription or seat-based structures, including usage- or metric-driven plans. You have demonstrated experience leading a significant compensation model transition end-to-end, including running plan models in parallel. You have deep configuration experience with a modern ICM platform (CaptivateIQ strongly preferred; Xactly, Spiff, or similar acceptable), strong Salesforce data fluency, and understanding of CPQ/billing data structures. You excel at financial modeling, communicate at an executive level, and can influence Directors and VPs to drive change across a function.
