Salary: USD 170,000 - 220,000 / annual
AnySignal is developing next-generation RF products and services for space and defense missions. As a Senior RF Hardware Engineer, you will own the complete lifecycle of highly integrated RF devices—from initial design through manufacturing, testing, and deployment. You'll work with a small, collaborative team of software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to build robust space communications systems.
Key responsibilities include designing and owning RF products at PCB, box, and integration levels; conducting trade studies and analyses on new designs; bringing up and troubleshooting new hardware; and qualifying designs for deployment. You'll collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to scale production.
Required qualifications: 5+ years designing RF circuitry across frontend and conversion chains; end-to-end PCB design experience (schematic, layout, fabrication, assembly); proficiency with Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, and Altium Designer; deep understanding of RF metrics (S-parameters, P1dB, noise figure, EVM); expertise in RF cascades, link budgets, and noise analysis; hands-on experience with test instruments (oscilloscopes, VNAs, spectrum analyzers); and familiarity with LNAs, power amplifiers, mixers, ADCs/DACs, PLLs, oscillators, and filters.
Desired skills include advanced Altium PCB design, component selection for radiation-susceptible environments, experience with AD9361 and Xilinx RFSoC interfaces, board soldering/reworking (0402 SMP, QFN packages), communications link modeling, DSP fundamentals, antenna design and measurement, and knowledge of high-PAPR signals and DPD concepts.
