Salary: USD 115,000 - 202,000 / annual
Figma is seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst to join its finance team and support critical deal and month-end close processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting, you will be responsible for executing monthly revenue accounting activities with precision and managing your own priorities in a high-volume close cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Execute timely and accurate monthly revenue accounting close activities, including journal entries, deal reviews, and reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and other business partners during contract negotiations to provide accounting guidance and ensure proper revenue recognition
- Review revenue contracts in detail to identify non-standard terms and document them for accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Author, update, and maintain revenue recognition policies and accounting memos tailored to Figma's contract structures
- Develop scalable revenue accounting processes and drive automation initiatives in partnership with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Engineering teams
- Contribute to special projects, system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ad hoc analyses as business needs evolve
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of combined experience in public accounting and/or corporate revenue accounting
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS technology environment
- Strong, current knowledge of ASC 606, including contract review and interpretation
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Advanced Excel proficiency
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with revenue systems implementations or automation projects
- ERP system experience, preferably NetSuite
- CPA candidate or CPA designation
