The Senior Renewals Account Manager (SRAM) manages and maximizes a diverse portfolio of maintenance, subscription, and SaaS renewals within a designated territory. This role reports to the Renewals Manager for the assigned region and is critical to maintaining customer relationships and driving recurring revenue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing quarterly and annual renewal portfolios for an assigned territory
- Maximizing renewal value, ensuring on-time renewals, and mitigating cancellations
- Building and sending complex quotes and proposals to resellers and customers at least 90 days in advance
- Tracking all quotes, phone calls, and emails in Salesforce with high accuracy and detail
- Handling complex customer objections and negotiating renewal contracts independently
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including order management, finance, legal, and Accounts Receivable
- Providing accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts of the renewals pipeline
- Uncovering leads and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities using value-based selling techniques
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, establishing value beyond renewal interactions
- Contributing to team special projects and promotions
- Potentially serving as a Subject Matter Expert and mentor to new hires and junior RAMs
The role is based remotely with a primary office location in Denver, Colorado. This is an individual contributor position with mentoring responsibilities but no direct people management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of renewals sales experience with a software company
- Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with C-level customer contacts
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others as part of a cross-functional team
- 4-year degree in business or equivalent experience
